DIPLOMA IN INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Intensive Training Course in Indian Head Massage (Champissage) with Barbara McAteer (Accredited Tutor from The London Centre of Indian Champissage International).
Indian Champissage includes massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears and energy balancing. The late Narendra Mehta, MBE and author of the bestselling book “Indian Head Massage” who founded the London Centre of Indian Champissage in 1995 developed this method. It is based on the traditional form of Champi (head massage) practised in India for over 1,000 years and is a wonderfully relaxing therapy. The massage is safe, simple to learn and very effective to give, without the need to undress or use oils.
It can provide relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms, insomnia, promote hair growth, soothe, comfort and rebalance your energy flow, giving you a deep sense of peace, calm and tranquillity.
Course aims and structure
The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive grounding in the theoretical basis and practical application of Indian Champissage (Head Massage). Students will be able to use the technique as a principal or subsidiary part of their professional practice.
In order to qualify as a professional Indian Head Massage therapist, you will need to do 5 case studies of 5 treatments before taking a written and practical examination. Once qualified, you will obtain a Diploma from the London Centre of Indian Champissage International (LCICI), which is recognised by major therapy insurance companies.
Who's Eligible?
